Naidex New Product Showcase

The Kingkraft Rollater was developed in conjunction with the Sheffield Children's Hospital for children with brittle bone disease (osteogenesis imperfecta). The problem identified was that existing rollaters/walkers on the market were principally aimed at larger children effectively rendering them of no use to this group.

Children with brittle bone disease are generally quite small for their age and if they can be encouraged to walk from an early age, this may contribute to higher bone density. Kingkraft have a long history of developing high class products for use by less able children and currently employ 2 paediatric phystiotherapists on the staff.

Together with their expertise and and the engineering capabilities of the company, the walker frame was manufacturered using lightweight materials (titanium) and produced with and excellent fold away mechanism therefore enabling it to be used on the move. With this, its funky and stylish design makes it look very attractive to the client.
